Hartfield Country Club

Hole 18 - Par 5 - 498m

From the tee...

The 18th hole at Hartfield is a par 5 of 498m. It requires a straight tee shot to a fairway that slopes just slightly from right to left. There is no danger off the tee but thick rough either side of the fairway awaits any missed tee shots.

The second shot...

On your second shot you should be aiming to positionthe ball on the middle to left side of the fairway to get the best angle into the green.

The third shot...

Your third shot is played to a green that is well protected with a large bunkeron the right hand side of the green and also at the front left. It also has some grassy hollows located at the left and back left of the green.  If the pin is behind the front right bunker, it may be benificial to play for the front of the green and if short, have a clear approach to the hole.

Short approach...

If the third shot end up near the front of the green, a clear approach can be made to the hole wherever it is positioned on the green.

On the green...

Once on the green you are confronted with a Two tiered putting green that slopes just slightly from back to front, again the slopes are very subtle which makes for tough putting.
