Local Rules – To be read in conjunction with Rules of Golf – Updated March 2021
1. OUT OF BOUNDS
a) Beyond the fence, bounding the course.
b) All of area enclosed by the park and entry and exit driveways
c) Clubhouse area defined by retaining wall
d) Hole 10, Right Hand Side, beyond area defined by black top white posts.
2. STAKED TREES AND SHRUBS
If staked tree or staked shrub interferes with a players stance or area of intended swing, the ball must be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with procedure in Rule 16.1b (immovable Obstruction)
3. GROUND UNDER REPAIR
a) All nurseries treat as Ground Under Repair (GUR) and relief must be taken in accordance with the procedure in Rule 16.1b
b) Those areas enclosed by white lines or signed accordingly are to be treated as Ground Under Repair and relief may be taken in accordance with procedure in Rule 16.1b
4. FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 16.1b. In addition, the player may take relief if an immovable obstruction is: On the line if play, and is
:- Within two club lengths of the putting green, and
:- Within two club lengths of the ball
5. Penalty Areas
Hole 13 Left Hand Side of penalty area is a Red Penalty Area – red pegs. Right Hand Side of penalty area is a Yellow Penalty Area – yellow pegs.
Hole 15 Yellow Penalty Area for men – yellow pegs / Red Penalty Area for women – red pegs.
Hole 16 Left Hand Side penalty area is a Yellow Penalty Area – yellow pegs. Right Hand Side penalty area – red pegs.
6. Temporary Local Rules – As indicated on Local Rule Board.
7. Penalty for Breach of Local Rule – Match play (loss of hole), Stroke Play (2 strokes)
