Can I join Hartfield if I do not know any members?
Yes, you can—although having an existing member as a contact does make the process easier.
Is there a waiting period?
At the moment no, but we have closed a number of membership categories. Upon applying for a category of membership that is full your application will be listed on our waiting list in order of receipt.
Do I have to reach a certain standard of play to become a member?
It is expected that any member would be able to play to the maximum handicap which is 36 for males and 45 for females. Members who do not hold an official Golf Link Number on joining must provide three (3) cards to obtain a handicap to be able to play in a member’s competition.

What costs are involved?
Hartfield Country Club charge an annual fee which includes affiliation fees, insurance and levies. Fees are for the period of 1st July to 30th June of each Pro Rata fees apply when joining mid year.
Are there payment options?
At Hartfield you can pay in full, 6 monthly (½ yearly) or monthly direct debits. Contact the office for a direct debit , BPay or credit card form. AMEX is not available.
How often can I play?
Members enjoy unlimited playing rights according to their category of membership.
Are there different club membership options available?
Currently we offer a range of membership options for both males and females, including 5 day and 7 day memberships for 18 hole and 9 hole play. Additional categories include FIFO, Aged Intermediates (18–35 years), Gold and Silver Credit Points, and Junior memberships.
What are the normal competition days?
Hartfield conducts non gender competitions on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Can members bring guests?
Hartfield Country Club allows members to bring guests who have an active and valid Golf Link to competitions on most days. Saturday we ask members to seek the permission of the Captain to bring a guest onto the course.Members guests rates apply to ALL visitors plus the competition fee applicable to that day. Guest without a valid Golf Link number can play social golf on non competition days.
